Walt Disney World and other locations reopened Friday, and other locations aim to reopen this weekend. Here’s a status report on what’s going on with various theme parks, other tourist attractions, and various cruise lines:
Walt Disney World (Orlando)
Walt Disney World announced that its four major theme parks will reopen on Friday with the following hours:
• Magic Kingdom Park: at 10:00
• EPCOT: at 11:00
• Disney’s Hollywood Studios: at noon
• Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park: at 13:00
Disney Resort hotel guests and those staying at other select hotels will be allowed to check in two hours earlier than the times listed above.
Fantasia Gardens Mini Golf it will also reopen on Friday at 3:00 p.m. ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex It will be open from 17:00 to 20:00 Typhoon Friend the water park is scheduled to reopen by Sunday. (Blizzard Beach is closed for the season.)
Walt Disney World Transportation It will resume normal operations on Friday, but is subject to weather protocols, the park said.
Disney Springsentertainment, dining and shopping complex, reopened at 10 a.m. Friday.
Busch Gardens (Tampa)
Busch Gardens Tampa Bay said on its website that it would be closed through Friday.
This is also true for the other Florida parks owned by SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment:

• SeaWorld Orlando
• Aquatica Orlando
• Discovery Cove (Orlando)
As of 11 a.m. Friday, the company said all parks are expected to reopen Saturday.
The company also said Discovery Cove will reschedule or refund reservations booked online or through the call center without cancellation or change fees. For more information, call 407-513-4600.
Individuals with a reservation made through a third-party vendor may rebook visit dates with the specific park, but those seeking a refund should contact their vendor partner.
Universal Resort (Orlando)

Universal Orlando Resort, including CityWalk, has a “phased reopening” on Friday for hotel guests only, the resort said in an email to CNN Travel Thursday evening.
“We continue to conduct assessment and recovery efforts across our destinations, with the safety of our guests and crew members as our top priority,” Universal said. “We will update our website and social media with information about park hours as conditions allow.”
LEGOLAND (Winter Haven)
LEGOLAND Florida Winter Haven was closed on Friday.
LEGOLAND Florida Resort and associated parks will be closed Friday, according to the resort’s website.
“LEGOLAND Hotel and Pirate Island Hotel will remain open to guests with existing reservations,” the park said.
As of 11:00 a.m. Friday, the park had no information on when it would reopen.
From Wednesday, September 28 to Sunday, October 2, they will be automatically extended until December 31, 2022, LEGOLAND previously said.
Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex (Cape Canaveral)

“When it is safe to do so, select restaurants will open to serve locals who have lost power or guests staying at nearby hotels,” the entertainment destination said.
Crayola Experience (Orlando)
Norwegian Cruise Line: The company canceled the 10-day trip The Norwegian EscapeIt was scheduled to leave Port Canaveral on Thursday.
The company also changed ports during the eight-day voyage Norwegian Sky.
MSc: The company directed it MSC Seashoreoriginally planned to be in the Western Caribbean, to ports in the Eastern Caribbean.
The MSC Seashore It will still leave the port of Miami on Saturday, according to the MSC customer call center.
Carnival Cruise Line: The company has announced changes to its schedule. Ports of Tampa Bay, Canaveral and Jacksonville affected by Ian have canceled the following sailings:
• Carnival Paradise: Four day trip from Tampa on Thursday.
• Merry carnival: Four-day cruise from Jacksonville on Thursday.
• Carnival Freedom: Three-day cruise from Port Canaveral on Friday.
Guests will receive a full refund and a 25% credit on a future cruise, Carnival said.
The following ships have had changes in schedule and ports of call: Carnival Freedom, Carnival Horizon, Carnival Dawn, Carnival Paradise, Carnival Elasia, Carnival Ecstasy and Carnival Glory
National and state parks
Parts of Everglades National Park reopened Friday.

As of Friday morning, about 100 Florida parks were closed, among others Amelia Island State Park (Nassau County), Don Pedro Island State Park (Charlotte County), Lake Manatee State Park (Manatee County) and Rainbow Springs State Park(Marian County).
